Get rid of the center post in front of the pilot. Give the Goat a pure open view like the old Primary Gliders.
Increase wingspan to 42-44 ft, increase performance enough to keep up with topless hang gliders

Hello Bret,
My name is Jon Ferguson. I was involved with the Airchair group back in 03. As far as I know I was the very first person to create the GOAT glider in X-plane.
I built the model based largely on Mike's technical drawings and correspondence with him. If you read some of the oldest posts in the Airchair group you will see me there.
Most subsequent X-plane models and especially the Ladybug work was built on my original model. I just want to say how pleased I am that folks are still using the simulator model and updating it. I would love to be a member of this site and help out occasionally. I am a big fan of aviation and Mikes airchairs. I myself am a student pilot with several hours logged in various powered aircraft.
With Respect and Admiration,
Jon

An eBay member has acquired Mike's pictures and drawings and is offering them for auction. I've notified the seller and will report this to eBay unless this is Mike, and I don't think it is. I also wanted to let him know what's going on.
Thanks, Bill, a big fan of Sandlin's designs
Hi I've been involved with the very useful group Airchair Yahoo group , with great discussion, but we need a place to collect links and construction and flying helps. Please help by adding to and editing this wiki.
